KURNELL WHALE HUNT; BSW; 65 km; Moderate pace / Some Traffic / Uses Off-road Cyclepaths / Uses On-road Cycleways / Contact: Warren Artlett (h) 9771 4606  (m) 0422400185. Starts:  8.30 am; Wolli Creek Station. Leave your harpoons at home! This hunt is to get some elusive photos of whales as they head north past Cape Solander at Kurnell. Bring your camera, refreshments (or buy some on the way) and a warm jacket just in case. Stop at Cronulla (45km) for lunch. Catch the train from here or return to Wolli Creek to finish.

WARWICK FARM MARKETS; BSW; 27 km ; Moderate pace / Some Traffic / Uses Off-road Cyclepaths / Uses On-road Cycleways / Contact: Warren Artlett; Ph (h) 9771 4606 (m) 0422400185 Starts: 8:00AM; Panania Railway station Edwards Reserve (North side Opposite Pub) This ride is mainly along off road cyclepaths and quiet back streets but includes a section along the M5 shoulder. Spend about an hour doing your fruit and veg shopping and having a relaxing morning tea. Return to Panania via alternate route.

TAKE A TRIP ON THE NORTH SIDE;

 BSW; 50 kms; Moderate pace / Some Traffic / Uses Off-Road Cyclepaths / Uses On-road Cycleways / Significant Hills / Contact: Warren Artlett (h) 9771 4606 (m) 0422400185. Starts:  8.30 am; Ada Street, Strathfield (start of Cooks Rive cycleway) Catch the punt to the north side and ride up to Epping Road, through North Sydney, over the Harbour Bridge, Anzac Bridge, Hawthorne Canal and return via Cooks River Cycleway

Bike South West is a group of volunteer cyclists, who lobby council for better facilities, promote cycling etc. The group also has a variety of rides for all levels of fitness, on roads and off.
